Create, Connect and Quilt Together
The QuiltArts group meets every 3rd Sunday from 9am – 12pm.
Quilt art, sometimes known as ‘mixed media art quilts’ or ‘fiber art quilts’, is an art form that uses both modern and traditional quilting techniques to create art objects. In this group members create quilt art based on their experiences, imagery and ideas, rather than traditional patterns.
Members share roles required to run and maintain the group, assist with the set up and running of the two annual CACA’s Artisan Fairs, as well as provide works for sale. Several members are involved in North Street Made gift shop and have items on display for sale.
A warm invite is extended to visitors to come and see what we do. We welcome new members!
