Caloundra Arts Centre Association (CACA) is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run creative hub where members learn, share their artistic journeys, and connect with like-minded people.
In 2026, we proudly celebrate our 50-year anniversary!
We facilitate 22 creative groups that meet weekly, along with a vibrant program of workshops and short courses. Throughout the year, we host events, exhibitions, and two much-loved Artisan Fairs.
Our onsite artisan gift shop, North Street Made (NSM), features a beautiful selection of unique, high-quality handmade items created by our talented members. The shop is open daily from 10am–2pm.
For more information about our activities, events, exhibitions, artisan gift shop, booking a trial session, or becoming a member, call us on 0492 986 240 (10am–2pm), email info@caloundraartscentre.org.au, or visit us at 5 North Street in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast.

Being part of the pottery group at the Centre has been such a rewarding experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, creative, and community-focused, and I’ve made some wonderful new friendships through attending classes and events. The management team is always friendly, supportive, and genuinely passionate about creating a space where everyone feels included and encouraged. I also absolutely love the bi-annual fairs - they are always beautifully organised, full of creativity, and such a great way to connect with the wider community. The Centre truly lives up to its spirit of community, connection, creativity, and celebration. Highly recommend becoming involved!Posted on Google Eileen AllanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very impressed with the craft shop. Wonderful talented people contributing to a fun craft fair on the weekend. I was able to do quite a bit of Christmas shopping!
Since 1976, our mission has been simple:
to ignite interest in the arts and nurture creative talent by stimulating and advancing culture and cultural activities for the public benefit.
We aim to foster artistic growth by promoting, developing, and facilitating appreciation, participation, and interaction across the visual and performing arts, crafts, literature, movable cultural heritage, and Indigenous and community arts.
Our goal is to encourage everyone to explore, connect, and take part in our creative community.
