Create, Connect and Explore Mediums Together
The Expressive Art group meets every Thursday from 9am – 12pm.
We are a diverse group of artists who use a variety of differing mediums such as acrylics, ink, watercolour, pastels and mixed media. Each member of our group has a distinct, individual style that reflects that artist’s response to society, culture or the built or natural environment. Working as a group once a week benefits each of us creatively through skill sharing, problem solving, motivation and artistic satisfaction.
The Expressive Art group has been meeting for many years, to support each other and enjoy our shared love of art practice together.
Members share roles and responsibilities required to run and maintain the group. They also help with the set up and running of the two annual CACA Artisan Fairs, where they have the opportunity to sell their work. Additionally, some members have their work for sale in North Street Made artisan gift shop.
