The Hard Pressed Printers group meets every Wednesday from 1pm – 4pm.
At our printing group we are dedicated to fostering creativity, collaboration, and community engagement through the art of printing. Whether you’re a seasoned printer or just starting out, we welcome individuals of all skill levels to join us in exploring the diverse world of printing techniques.
Printing Techniques include etching, cyanotype, lino printing, embossing, eco-dye and -print, chine colle, collagraphy and gel plate printing. HPP has access to a professional press on site, thanks to the generous support of CACA.
Members share roles and responsibilities required to run and maintain the group. They also help with the set up and running of the two annual CACA Artisan Fairs, where they have the opportunity to sell their work. Additionally, some members have their work for sale in North Street Made artisan gift shop.
Join us to experience the joy of printing and collaborate with fellow enthusiasts. Together, let’s make beautiful prints and meaningful connections that enrich our community. We welcome new members, enquire for a trial session!
