The Creative Arts Group meets every Thursday from 1pm – 4pm.
Creative Arts Group (CAG) is an eclectic, self-motivated group of artists who are very supportive of each other. With a wide-ranging level of skills, we are united through our passion for painting and drawing.
CAG’s variety of work ranges from drawing, watercolours, pencils, acrylics, oils, pastels and mixed media. From fine art to contemporary, realism, quirky and abstract.
Several members have been finalists in the ‘Sunshine Coast Local Artist Local Content’ Exhibition hosted by the Caloundra Regional Art Gallery. Other members are setting out on their art journey, having fun, and creating many joyful pieces of art.
We work whilst enjoying background music from classical to 80’s, singing and humming along. Once a month we celebrate our group with a social get-together at the end of our session. We are a happy group of creative beings!
Members share roles and responsibilities required to run and maintain the group. They also help with the set up and running of the two annual CACA Artisan Fairs, where they have the opportunity to sell their work. Additionally, some members have their work for sale in North Street Made artisan gift shop.
A warm invite is extended to visitors to come and see what we do. We welcome new members, enquire for a trial session!
Intake of new members is done when capacity allows.
