Weave to Wear – Coiled jewellery in rafia (Sat 18 July)

Come along and create your own woven earrings or pendant using traditional coil basketry techniques. Working with natural and hand-dyed raffia, you’ll be guided step by step through the process of designing, shaping, stitching and finishing your wearable artwork.

In this workshop, you will:

• Learn a versatile coil basketry technique suitable for beginners
• Work with natural and hand-dyed raffia to create unique designs
• Explore methods for shaping, stitching and finishing woven forms
• Complete your piece with sterling silver jewellery findings
• Take home your own handcrafted earrings or pendant

Perfect for beginners and curious makers alike, this workshop offers a relaxing and creative introduction to contemporary fibre art and wearable design.

– Workshops and artist talks, and facilities are for participants aged 18+.

Cancellations & Refunds
– Please notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend, so we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list.
– Full refunds are available with at least 14 days’ notice prior to the workshop start date.
– Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start date are not eligible for a refund.
– No refunds will be issued for non-attendance, partial attendance, or missed sessions.
