WONDROUS WINTER WORKSHOPS

Fabric Printing

with Denise Burkitt

Join us for an experimental and playful workshop exploring easy techniques for creating unique printed and painted cloth designs. Suitable for beginners through to advanced participants, this workshop encourages creativity, spontaneity, and childlike enthusiasm.

In this workshop, you will:

• Learn simple but effective methods for creating one-off textile designs
• Explore how to mix harmonious colour palettes and layer overlapping shapes and patterns
• Experiment with paint brushes, household items, and plant materials to create textures and prints
• Use cut sections of plants in combination with painting and printing techniques
• Develop small sample pieces before progressing to a larger piece of whole cloth if desired

Create your own unique fabric designs that could later become clothing, table linens, cushions, bags, and more!

Non-members: $220
Members: $170

– Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
– Workshops and artist talks, and facilities are for participants aged 18+.

Cancellations & Refunds
– Please notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend, so we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list.
– Full refunds are available with at least 14 days’ notice prior to the workshop start date.
– Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start date are not eligible for a refund.
– No refunds will be issued for non-attendance, partial attendance, or missed sessions.
