Join us as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary and open our doors to the community for a special weekend of creativity, discovery, and inspiration.
Whether you’re an experienced artist, a curious beginner, or simply looking for an enjoyable day out, everyone is welcome to explore our studios, meet the members, and learn about the many art and craft groups that have helped make CACA a thriving creative hub for five decades.
Our Open Days Weekend is a free family-friendly event and the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in a diverse community of creatives and art lovers. Plus, enjoy the convenience of free onsite and nearby parking, making your visit hassle-free from start to finish.
Infuse your Saturday morning with a burst of inspiration at the fun Fashion Parade that’s on at 11am. Prepare to be dazzled by unique creations of fashion and art, made by our members.
Join the Fun:
Unleash your inner artist and participate in our interactive make & take creative activities (children accompanied by a supervising adult) and take home your own little masterpiece. No need to pre-book, just show up! Make & Take activities are: ‘Flying Geese patchwork’, Sashiko (embroidery decorative stitching), Kawandi (patchwork and quilting), hand-sewing a pumpkin-shaped pincushion, ‘paper piecing’ (quilting technique that uses paper as a foundation to create crisp designs) and making paper gift tags.
