Drawing on more than two decades of studio practice\, Shannon will share stories from her travels\, exhibitions\, public art projects\, and community work. Expect thoughtful reflections\, practical insights\, and fascinating tales of creativity and adventure from an artist deeply immersed in her field. \nAbout the Artist \nBased in regional Queensland\, Shannon Garson is an acclaimed Australian ceramic artist\, writer\, curator\, and arts advocate working primarily with Australian porcelain. Her richly detailed vessels and drawings reflect a fascination with the patterns\, marks\, and textures found in nature. A Churchill Fellow with a Master’s degree in Ceramics\, Shannon is a past winner of the Gold Coast International Ceramic Award\, with work held in national collections.
